New construction

What this covers

We provide professional electrical installation for new residential construction, from planning and rough-in wiring to final fixtures, devices, and electrical panel installation. We work to ensure your home’s electrical system is safe, reliable, and designed to meet your needs, with quality workmanship and attention to detail at every stage of construction.

Included

• Electrical system design and consultation
• New wiring / whole-home wiring
• Lighting and switching design
• Device and switch installation
• Coordination with builder and interior designer

How we approach it

We start at the blueprints: a full electrical design with the lighting, switching, and circuit and service plan thought through before the first wire is pulled. We walk through the framed house with you — outlet by outlet, switch by switch, light by light — and discuss any other unique desires. We discuss lighting control systems and any future plans you have for your home so that your electrical system meets today’s needs and tomorrow’s. We encourage questions and visits throughout the process to ensure you are happy with how it is all coming together.

Working with your builder

Bobby ran commercial projects as a construction manager before Essential Electric, so he understands what is required for a successful home build and how Essential Electric can help that process. Your builder or GC gets an electrical contractor who understands the need for keeping the schedule, managing the inspection process, and coordinating with other trades — while serving you well at the same time.
