Generators & backup power

Power that stays on when the grid doesn't.

Generators & backup power

What this covers

Front Range weather doesn’t ask permission. We install backup power for various budgets and your specific needs — so an outage is an inconvenience, not an emergency.

Included

  • Whole-house generator installation
  • Generator transfer switches
  • Portable generator connections
  • Whole-home surge protection

How we approach it

We size the system to what actually needs to stay on — the furnace, the fridge, the well pump, the medical equipment — not to the biggest unit on the truck. For many homes, a properly wired transfer switch and a portable generator inlet covers the essentials at a fraction of the cost of a standby unit. When a whole-house generator is the right call, we’ll say so and show you why.

Permits, code, and what happens next

Generator and transfer-switch work is permitted and inspected, and gas-fueled standby units are coordinated with your plumber or gas fitter. We handle placement, clearances, the transfer equipment, and the inspection — and we test the whole system under load before we call it done.

Ready when you are
