How we approach it

Ideally, we prefer you contact us before committing to an electric vehicle so we can run the load calculation. Your panel either has the capacity for the charger you want or it doesn’t — and if it doesn’t, we’ll show you the numbers and the options, from a load-managed charger to a service upgrade. The wire gets sized for the charger’s real draw. That way you get a complete picture of your costs: electric vehicle and electrical service needs.

Permits, code, and what happens next

EV circuits are permitted and inspected in Colorado Springs, and we handle both. Most installations are done in half a day, mounted clean, labeled, and tested with your vehicle before we leave.
